I bought this to replace an older mini projector I used in a bedroom for night time watching. Straight out of the box it was an obvious huge improvement and I've been really impressed by the picture quality just projected onto a solid white wall. I only use this is a dark room at night, I don't know if would be as great during the day in a bright environment but it would probably be ok in a dimly lit room. The case it comes with is nice and the built in speaker is actually really good and clear. It has the ability to Bluetooth or aux to a larger speaker as well if you want to get a little more bass.Only had a few small negatives so far. The remote gets the job done but it feels cheap and flimsy. Reminds me of a fire stick remote design wise but the feel is like a toy. Second problem is I can't find a sleep timer. My 5 year old $50 projector had one so I was surprised not to have the option on this $200+ model. Lastly I had to mess with the sound settings on my Chromecast to get sound on certain apps -- the projector can't decode any kind of Dolby or DTS audio so you have to shut all those off or else you'll just get a very pretty but silent picture.Overall I think it's a good buy if your use case is in a darker room.
