Changed the hole thread for the number 2 spark plug on a 2007 Honda Fit with 257000 miles. I was driving on the freeway and the car started to sound like a motorcycle and that was because a spark plug with a coil had popped out in the second cylinder. Purchased watch set 4412e-111 from Revain. Make sure the piston is in the down position by inserting a pick into the spark plug hole and turning the engine clockwise by hand (never turn counterclockwise or you will damage the engine). Once the hanger was fully lowered, I found the plunger was down. I was concerned about whether the valves were open or closed but the Honda mechanic said it didn't matter as there wouldn't be any serious damage but try to blow out as much aluminum shavings as possible. 1. Lubricate the tap with WD-40, insert the tap into the hole and continue turning until there is no resistance. 2. Insert the landing cutter and began to clean the seat under the candle, making about 10 turns. Then removed the seat cutter and faucet. I blew and sucked the little aluminum shavings out of the cylinder head as best I could. I put the driver in 30w oil then screwed the insert in and then screwed it into the spark plug hole. I've encountered resistance, but the instructions say to keep turning until you feel no resistance, but not for too long because you don't want the rider to fall into the cylinder head. I turned it three or four times after not feeling any resistance. Apply some anti-seize to the spark plug and seat to about 15 pounds, then install the coil. I have driven the car a thousand miles and it runs like new!
