The product was too narrow to fit in the compartment. I may have some badly cut ones, but the ones you have will fit just fine. One side of the black foam padding on the outside of EACH filter will need to be removed. After installing the first filter, the left side of the black foam pad must be removed. The second filter had the black foam pad on the right side that had to be removed, so I put that in. After removal, both filters fit perfectly.
