I'll say right away that I really like these shoes! I like that the straps are adjustable in three different places on the leg. I like the quality and durability. I usually wear a size 7.5 so I ordered a size 7 and it fits perfectly. I really wanted to keep these shoes but I have very flat feet and found the low arch contour and high arch support uncomfortable. This is because my foot is out of bounds in the arch area. I call this "splash" and that happens to a lot of shoes due to flat feet (see photo). The insole is stiffer than it looks rather than flexing which makes my drool problem worse. The other feature I didn't like was the thick and heavy sole, almost awkward but that's a matter of taste and what you want to use it for. My size 7s weighed 1 pound 5.3 ounces. In contrast, my size 8 Nike shoes weighed 14.4 ounces. I ordered the Chaco Zvolv X2 because they claim to have less contouring, lower arch support, a thinner sole and lighter weight. I don't intend to walk around in them so they have to be perfect.
