Disappointed / will probably be back

I am very disappointed, I paid good money for these and overall they looked great but when I put them on my left shoe the straps were so tight I didn't could fit on the big toe in the right shoe straps were very loose! I managed to stretch the buckle on the left boot a bit to make it fit but I still don't know if it fits like it should and the right side is still too loose.

Cute but awkward and prone to shapeshifting at the wrong time

In theory, you can customize them any way you want. In practice, this means that every time you slip, your shoes suddenly rearrange themselves, usually in a rather uncomfortable way. I got stuck in public a few times where I had to sit down, take off my shoes and fiddle with them for 3 minutes to walk again. Pretty awkward. My keens are pretty dumb but I enjoy running around in them for 8 hours. I can't run more than 45 minutes at a time in my Chacos. But they are pretty cute.

My first pair of Chacos: the perfect shoe for outdoor activities!

I wear 9.5 women's sneakers. Since they don't offer half sizes, I followed the internet recommendation and ordered one size smaller. I was a little skeptical when I first tried them on as they fit my foot size pretty much exactly. However, I have high arches and the shoe felt exactly where it should have been. I actually bought them for deep sea fishing because I didn't want to be standing around in wet socks and sneakers or maybe walking around in flip flops. After standing for more than 6…

Great shoe - you need a pair

I'm a big Chaco fan, got my first pair as a honeymoon gift five years ago. I remember the time I thought I'd never wear them...God I was wrong. I am so thankful they were on this trip and they have made every warm weather trip since. I love that they can go to the beach, walk through dirty water and then hose or machine wash them and they look brand new. This first pair is still trending (which is amazing because it's all I've worn in the last five years), but I wanted something without a…

Nothing for flat feet 😢

I'll say right away that I really like these shoes! I like that the straps are adjustable in three different places on the leg. I like the quality and durability. I usually wear a size 7.5 so I ordered a size 7 and it fits perfectly. I really wanted to keep these shoes but I have very flat feet and found the low arch contour and high arch support uncomfortable. This is because my foot is out of bounds in the arch area. I call this "splash" and that happens to a lot of shoes due to flat feet…

Disappointing Women's Best

I was very excited about my first pair of chacos which I heard were extremely comfortable with easily adjustable straps. However, these straps are extremely stiff and difficult to adjust, even after spraying them with water-diluted fabric softener, as I've heard from a few people. I pull and pull on them to get them big enough, but then as I walk they shrink back up, causing chafing and pain (which isn't really that big. I usually wear a size 7 1/2, but I do have one size up Bought 8. The sole…

Five stars for Z-Cloud, one star for straps

First, whoever invented Z-Cloud better get an award. Or at least a promotion. They take the supportive insole of the original Chaco and soften it in all the right places. In love with this insole! Too bad I didn't buy this model. I've never had a toe-strap Chaco and can't tell if it's the toe-strap itself (which seems to offer some security, if not comfort, out on the trails) or the flimsy dual straps, but I hate it. . I broke them within a week before taking them camping/hiking. They have been
