Review on 🧽 SpongeBath: The Ultimate Solution for Hygienic Sponge Storage and Cleaning by Tomeka Parker

Say goodbye to "smelly sponge smell " forever!

SpongeBath has finally solved my quest for a simple, effective and long lasting "sponge smell" cure that I KNOW you are familiar with. My family uses your regular everyday sponge to clean everything in the kitchen including the kitchen sink. We care about the environment and try to keep paper waste to a minimum and keep harsh chemical cleaners away from food and children. Clean the cleaning tool and try to rid our noses and hands of the inevitable smell. Soap was too soft, bleach/409 too harsh (and dissolved after a few uses). And I didn't always want to throw away the two-day sponge! Sign in to SpongeBath. I'll spare you the various googling I've been doing for months to find something that could be used off-label to solve this problem. I just wanted to freshen up and sanitize my sponge, but not ruin it or make it unsafe for curious kids to use. and 2 cats. Nothing was quite right until a few weeks ago when a Revain search result suggested SpongeBath. I admit that I didn't quite "get it" at first glance. But after reading about it, it seemed to me that this is exactly what I was looking for. I was shocked that someone would think of a problem as specific and common as me. So I took a chance, ordered it, and about 5 minutes after receiving it was set up, filled with a simple mix of water and a citrus-based solution (there's a handy 1-ounce label on the bottle). I put my stinky sponge in a clamp basket (which has been used for a few days as you can imagine) and dunked it in the first bath. I honestly didn't know what to expect. I looked at it for a few minutes - it looked beautiful I must say - small size, well thought out design, solid construction with an elegant appearance. In the end I let it be. I came back a few hours later and got to work straight away. It was fun/scary to take it out, gently hold it up to your nose and smell it. It was wonderful! The sponge had a mild, fresh scent, but not like a fake mask scent. There was also no chemical or pungent odor. And best of all: NO stench beforehand. The best way to describe it, it smelled new. Fabulous! Suffice to say I demonstrated this for a family and everyone got into the habit of keeping the sponge in the tub after cleaning, NOT in or near the sink, god knows what grows. A week or so has passed. and we have 2 sponges in turns - one absorbs and refreshes and the other cleans and then we swap. I haven't smelled a "smelly sponge" since that first day! Not to mention my sponges still look as good as they did without the packaging. I can definitely see this greatly increasing the lifespan of our most essential kitchen cleaning tool. It always stays wet so it doesn't go through what shrinks/expands at night. Whoever came up with this, well done! I just wish I was the first to think about it! Ha ha. I know what my mom, sister and brother are getting for Christmas! Good product!
