I usually use a rag or paper towels to polish car tires, but that just didn't work on my new Can-Am Commander's aggressive off-road tires . Street tires so I have that to try. This thing is great for getting where a rag just can't go! It easily spreads tire shine solution over deep treads without the need for special wiping or detailing patterns. The back of the applicator is a really hard foam so it feels very firm in your hand and doesn't bend at all. The side of the applicator is made of soft but firm foam. I thought the aggressive tread on these mud tires would tear them up, but after a few uses they still look brand new (aside from being dirty from use). Will definitely buy another one if this ever wears out! At this price, that's not a problem.
