I was looking for something that could hold my phone when I'm using it to stream videos. I started getting some pain in my arm (elbow, forearm and wrist) and finally tracked it down by how I was holding the phone. I ordered this phone holder and started using it. My arm pain has been greatly reduced and I can only assume this is due to this phone holder. I recommend it to anyone who spends a lot of time with their phone in hand. My only complaint is that it's not big enough to even fit an iPad mini. But I'm glad it holds my iPhone 7. EDIT: It will hold an iPad Mini. I haven't tried it with a full-size iPad.
