Very convenient to use and safer for beginners than single needles.
It's hard to tell what's good for a novice felter, as serrated needles are a hazard even for a semi-experienced felter like me. When I first tried felting, the assembly instructions suggested tying 2 or 3 needles together to felt a large area. This approach works, but it was inconvenient to keep it, and my fingers were still dangerously close to the notches. This tool solves all of those problems - it's comfortable to hold, scans large areas quickly, and keeps your fingers a safe distance from the needle tips. I also highly recommend leather fingertips, which unfortunately I didn't find out about until I cut myself a couple of times.
- IDEAL FOR SMALL AND THIN PROJECTS: Can be used with 1, 2 or 3 needles. Triple felting needles form a line or triangle for different purposes. The line type is intended for creating lines and decorating the edges of felt products. The triangular type is designed for 3D and fine felting. The needles can be changed according to your needs.
