These Oakley sunglasses are a bit pricey, but the old adage "you get what you pay for" applies. I recently bought 2 pairs of cheaper sunglasses within 6 months. They looked and worked great for about 3 months each. After that, the color coatings began to wear off on the outside, and small scratches appeared on the inside. Oakley glasses fit and wear very well. no color fading and no scratches
