It's not that easy to assemble. You literally just need to lay down the canvas liner, assemble and connect the base. The lid has small plastic hardware that keeps it in place. The top plant holder comes with an oasis sponge. It also comes with artificial leaves and stones to cover the oasis. It also has a filter suitable for the pho plant. There are vents on the bottom of the plant holder that allow air to escape from the litter box and flow up through the top. The filter helps eliminate these odors. The circular base is much smaller than my large tray I had before. As such, a round lens is more decorative and fits in a corner much better than a large square box. Quite high inside. Even my big cat in the room could sit right inside. The hole is big enough that I can scoop out clumps of dirty dirt without removing the lid. However, if I change the entire filling, it is very easy to remove the entire lid, take off the linen liner and wash everything thoroughly.
