To assemble the Stratux myself I only received a kit of high gain antennas as I didn't see the need for boost antennas in the area . which are also included in another set. The pictures show how the SDRs (Software Defined Radios) are connected to the Raspberry Pi 3 motherboard (one is partially obscured by the external USB GPS connector. I removed the cases to give them more breathing room, as they can get nice and hot.The UI uses an external GPS as it has an accuracy of 0 meters as opposed to the built in GPS option which has an accuracy of 29 meters and also heats up the inside of the case. This causes the vertical Overall height reduced.but it gets wider and makes it more difficult to carry in a bag.Of course you can remove the antennas before and after using the device but I thought this would wear out the connector unnecessarily.Very easy installation as part of the Stratux kit, and this high gain antenna only kit is $3 less than a com A bundle of high and medium gain antennas.
