Review on Kurgo Soft-Sided Wander Dog Carrier with Waterproof Bottom and Breathable Mesh Ventilation - TSA Airline Approved and Ideal for Exploring and Metro Travel by Kendra Adams

Great shape, solid construction

I was very surprised that what I received didn't look like the picture. Mine had a zip at the top and was all mesh on three sides. The construction felt solid, especially the bottom, which was tight and a little soft. The handles were good (didn't try the shoulder strap) and they could be used individually or attached with velcro at the top. There were two zips for each hole which is great for adjusting exactly where you want access to access your pet. I didn't like the strap on the back through which you could thread the seat belt. It seemed very uncomfortable but I have no experience with other airlines so it's probably as good as them. Overall a nice design but unfortunately I wanted a less open concept because my cat needs more privacy to feel safe so I returned it. Dog and cat carrier for pets up to 16 lbs 17" x 11" x 10.5". Both have their pros and cons, but Kurgo suits my self-centered lifestyle better. Following the example of Sherpa, I plan on fabric panels Velcro on the back and sides.I think my cat will be fine if I can create a cavernous den on one side and the other is more open to airflow and worldview.Kurgo is the ability to at Need to bend one end to slide it under the seat I don't mind now but if I were to fly with my cat I would be afraid that the stretcher might not fit under the seat despite the size of "Kurgo" and "Heritage” is almost the same More paranoia on my part than anything I'm sure.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Slightly torn
