My husband refuses to even try this leash. He claims it's too long. But I find that the extra length provides additional benefits and is not a management issue. The extra length allows me to fold it up for a good grip or allow my dog to move forward without being pulled in his path. The leather of the large one feels durable and feels good in the hand. The risk of line burn is much less if it suddenly jumps in the air and starts flying. And I get compliments on it. I've had them for over 6 months now and have used them hiking in the mountains as well as the local parks. Still in great condition, no damage. Like it a lot!
