Review on 🎧 Discover the Ultimate Listening Experience with Native Union Monocle - MONO-BLK-DIA-MT - Black Diamond by Erica Wilson

. week now and until tonight it was fine. The only criticism is the power cord.

I've had the monocle for a week now and it was perfect until tonight. My only complaint was that the power cord was surprisingly short (I mean, even the proverbial short straw is longer than this thing, but I could handle it). So what happened to the otherwise perfect article? iOS 8. I updated my iPhone and the multifunction button that stops/fast forwards/activates Siri no longer works. So when I need one of these handy features, I have to uncomfortably pull my phone out of the pocket it's in. A few days after receiving the monocle, I complained to the folks at Native Union about the lanyard. You never came back to me. I'll complain about the button too, although I don't think it's their fault. I'm assuming there was no way Native Union could have foreseen this since Monocle was released longer than iOS8. I am confident that this product will work correctly with other phones/devices. I will continue to use it with my iPhone, remembering my happy week with it and hoping a Monocle or iOS update will solve my problem. When the issue is resolved I will update my review. Have fun while listening! Update February 23, 2015 I've been meaning to update this post for a long time, sorry. Native Union replied to me but didn't get the gist of my complaint and I never responded. Since the problem was in iOS8 bugs and had nothing to do with it, it's ok. I've found that I don't really use the button as it's too far away from me most of the time. I've also found that I can use my Kindle cord to power my monocle, which is great as I keep forgetting and leaving it on, draining the battery. I'm really happy with my purchase. It works the way I need it. I bought it to use in the car to listen to music from my phone while driving as my radio is not working properly and I still can't connect my phone to it. Everywhere I go it costs at least $500 to install a new radio. It only cost $40 and I can use it anywhere and still receive calls with it. It has great sound and I even use it at home with my iPad. I also wear hearing aids and can use them to answer calls without having to take out my hearing aids or unplug my phone from the speaker. Makes my life easier.
