Used to carry my sister's kitten on an 8 hour car ride. The flash works fine. The canvas sides are thick enough that the small animal inside won't scratch them. And strong enough not to wrinkle at the slightest pressure. Spacious enough for me to have room to line it with a towel and put a small bowl of water in it along with the kitten. Now that we've arrived, the kitty loves it when we leave the front flap open so she can nap in the carrier! The best thing is that it folds very well, making it easier for us to store it when we no longer use it. I would definitely buy this product again if I had the opportunity.
