I received this clock to replace a similar one that has been sitting on my porch for about 20 years. These (like the old ones) require an "AA" and are fairly easy to find. The old clock worked accurately for about a year without changing the battery; Let's see if this works. So far I'm very happy with them. It was easy enough to install the battery and hang it on an outside wall. They tell the perfect time and the thermometer (although not that easy to spot from a distance) seems very accurate too. I do a lot of gardening and this clock is clearly visible from even the furthest point in my garden.
