Review on πŸ”’ Protect Your Motorcycle With Trimax MAX40YL Yellow Disc U-Lock - Secured by Sturdy Yellow PVC Shackle by Matt Louis

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Plastic Inner 7-15-13

Well it's ok if you only use this as a screen for your motorcycle or bike. the yellow rubber is very loose, hence the name of the Trimax, he noted that it is semi-plastic. But if you want to use it as a padlock I don't think so, if you want to use it on a heavy chain use two padlocks if you want to use that one too. Don't get me wrong, it's very strong, but I would suggest using two locks if using this lock with a chain. Use something else for the padlock. :update: This lock is actually very strong, well I tried to cut it with bolt cutters but I couldn't. So I opened it up, took out the U shaped metal and started cutting out the holes that the lock went in. Very hard but can be cut. Inside are two white plastic cylinders that house the locking mechanism. Well it would be nice if the hole was metal, well it's a good disc brake lock anyway. So this device is powerful, but it looks so and so. The best is a genuine Ulock bike from (onguard) with a rating of 97 on a brand new model.
