Instructions were very easy and took about 5 minutes to install. There is a sheet of stickers you can put on so you know where to drill the pilot holes and it helps a lot. I had an unprotected camera installed outside and kept seeing a bird flying towards it and I was worried the bird would damage it, but after installing it and putting the camera in I'm pretty sure I don't need it. worry more I was also very happy with the price of these mounts. If I have more outdoor cameras in the future I will definitely buy more.
