Unorthodox review but great for work or sleep

Continue to the third full paragraph for an actual review of the item. When I sleep I get very hot and sweat, which causes me to wake up with a headache, but I also need something to cover me (e.g. a light blanket or sheet). So I sleep with the ceiling fan on. Unfortunately, my mother-in-law likes to turn off the ceiling fan around 5am when she wakes up and I end up waking up with a damp pillowcase. It's really annoying because the house is like a greenhouse, so when I sleep I can really feel when the fan turns off and heat comes in (I sleep on the couch in the living room with a million windows). Since I'm still half asleep at this point, I don't have the strength to get up and turn it back on. I've told her many times to leave it on, but she keeps doing it until now my father-in-law does the same. Do not touch. Practically life saving. It's rechargeable so I can charge it while it's on. It requires a USB-C cable, so I just use the Switch charger for it. I sleep with it nearby so I can grab it and turn it on when I feel the ceiling fan turn off. I usually sleep with it on my chest or over my head on a pillow at the lowest temperature and it really helps regulate my body temperature. I also used it at work. Since I currently spend all my shifts outdoors, I clip it to the top of my shirt, under my neck, or to the back of my pants (although my shirt often covers part of the fan that sucks air, fanning it out a lot around the back to get out of my shirt). I've only used the fan on the first or second setting so far and the battery life has been great. It's not overly loud at the lowest settings, but the harder it's driven at other settings, the louder it gets. I wish the clip on the back could be rotated so the fan could face down or out of the way instead of always facing up. But overall I really like this fan. It's compact, light weight and my hair doesn't get tangled like a traditional fan so I'm grateful for that.
