I bought this water bottle because I rarely drink water, and when I drink, I had a habit of using a regular water bottle for months, and my friends told me to try Get a refillable water bottle and it won't cost much. I spent a lot of time studying water bottles, and back then I didn't care if a water bottle could stay hot or cold for a long time. I've seen a lot of people talk about fancy bottles but I would never pay that price. I found the Mira water bottles on Amazon and thought I'd buy them after reading the reviews. I really like the water bottle. I have a 17 oz light blue ("pearl blue") that a lot of people have color matched me, and it shimmers slightly in the light (but not too shiny in an awkward way). The video had a flickering finish, but after the video loaded the picture quality degraded so it's not that noticeable. I didn't know whether to go for a matte or gloss style because I'm worried about scuffs and dents; I decided on the sparkly style based on online reviews and asked a friend who had a similar water bottle. Doesn't seem to be any problems so far. The logo doesn't look like it could smudge, which I was concerned about reading some of the reviews. The size is quite nice because it's not too heavy, but it holds enough water for hours or minutes depending on how much you drink! I would definitely recommend it to a friend because I don't think there is much of a difference between this one and the spring bottles. I went with a solid color because I was concerned that the patterned leather would peel off, which I honestly expected given the price and the way the bottle was made; I think if you buy solid color you will have no problem. When I drank it for the first time, I didn't feel anything metallic. It also doesn't "ring" or hurt my teeth when I drink. I can easily fill with ice cubes. I've found that if you add ice cubes to your drink in the morning they should be there in a couple of hours, but if I just pour some lukewarm water and leave it in the fridge overnight, the water doesn't really get any colder, which is why I recommend it , pour cold water into a bottle and refrigerate overnight, and then add ice cubes if you want it colder.
