My friend and I bought a pair of these for our ATVs to use for snow removal. We used them non-stop throughout the winter in freezing temperatures and left them in the car all night until used the next day. Not only did they work all winter, freezing, thawing and constantly getting wet, they never died as we expected. Both devices still work just as they did the day we received them, with countless hours of vibration and use. We've since put them on a truck and a Bobcat plow, and they're bright enough to give a good warning. You can't beat the value. We use the rotation pattern as the default because when working in tandem, the flashing flash pattern just drives the other person crazy. but they are made to attract attention, and they certainly do. The only downside is that they don't have a magnetic base, but they can easily be glued to an existing magnet with weatherproof silicone to overcome this.
