I bought this set because the price was great. I would normally go brushless but at this price I can live with a shorter life expectancy. An excellent choice for the homeowner. A professional should use a brushless tool: circular saw, that was the first tool I used. High performance, easily cuts 3/4 inch thick hardwood. I've used it to finish a finished case (the blade is thinner than the one supplied) and got a splinter free result. Angle grinder: I cut off a few screws and was amazed at how much I could do without draining the battery. Reciprocating saw: easy loading and changing of saw blades. I've used this to trim a little and I've been doing it wrong all my life. That's the easiest way for me to drill: and screwdriver: lots of power, everything I've come to expect from Makita Smaller brand users will be surprised at how much more power you get from Makita Blower: To be honest, that also got me expensive to buy it. And it's better than I expected. It has three speed settings and a very sensitive trigger that gives you a lot of control. It's tiny, more of a sawdust blower than a leaf blower. Great for cleaning. There are wheels, lots of pockets, but it's just hard to find anything in them. But I didn't buy it because of the bag.
