I have had two of these units. Both received a five-year warranty, but each died in their sixth year, and they were of little use. They sat on the shelf most of the time. A five-year warranty is a good guarantee these days, but I'm wondering if these things have a doomsday feature. Anyone else with this experience? After spending 95% of its lifespan idly on a shelf, you would expect a piece to last 10-15 years. In addition, my two previous models were "international modelsโ, i.e. they could be used worldwide. World with input voltage 100VAC - 240VAC. At some point, Deltran quietly stopped doing this. The charger looks the same, with the same model number, but only 120V AC. If you're traveling, you'll now have to buy two - or another brand. When my last 'Battery Tender 'waterproof' 800' died (bought from Revain six years ago) I was looking for a replacement. and leaned into everything. I travel. I need an international model. Now let's see what else is out there. There are many highly rated options. Goodbye Deltaran. Oh and one more thing. On the new non-international model, the word "Waterproof" has disappeared from the front of the product. Oh Deltran, why did you downgrade?
