Review on Merrell Move Glove Black 11.5: Advanced Barefoot Athletic Shoes with a Promising Fit by Sean Julian

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very good kettlebell shoe

Haven't bought a pair of these from Revain but wanted to leave a review here for those looking for a good kettlebell shoe. Barefoot shoes are best for kettlebell training because you need a shoe that keeps you on level ground. ground as much as possible. Personally, I'm more of an Asics snob when it comes to training shoes, but these are very good barefoot shoes (like wearing nothing at all). One thing I really like compared to my Asics is that the tongue is integrated into the shoe so it's almost like slippers. The second thing I like is that they are very grippy so they are really good when you need extra traction for exercises like burpees or lunges. The only thing that doesn't bother me is that they are so grippy they scratch my exercise mat too much and the laces unravel during exercise if you don't hold them very tight. Overall they are definitely five stars and totally worth the $60 I paid for them.

Pros
  • Cloth sole
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
