Review on Dorman 674-662 Chrysler Exhaust Manifold for Select Models - Enhanced SEO by Jemar Lorenzo
Very rough casting much heavier than OEM
This manifold has to be the roughest casting I have ever seen. It looks like the inner sand core is made out of aquarium gravel. I am using a PT Cruiser motor in my neon race car and the OEM headers tend to snap between the two center skids. Thought I'd try an aftermarket header and see if it holds up better. Not only is this manifold roughly cast, but it weighs just over 16 pounds (with the heat shields removed), almost 4 pounds heavier than the OEM.
