I received the press. Washed. Peel the paper off the garlic and get ready to chop it. That didn't happen. Instead, I got a nice, flattened clove of garlic. After crushing and squeezing and rolling none of it went through the holes. No, no, I thought. I must be doing something wrong as the star rating for this product is high. I'm doing my research. So I cut the clove into smaller pieces and tried again. This time the garlic started coming through the holes as I rolled and crushed the press. But what little came out was black. I suspect there is random dirt in the holes that is not easy to clean. I ended up drawing a line on things with tiny holes that can't be cleaned in the dishwasher. One star for a cool tiny knife that smears fake butter like in its own commercial and one star for my new brass knuckles. Repurpose folks!
