I bought two of these for my 6-week backpacking trip in Asia and I was so glad I did. They fit perfectly into my backpack, they dried me very quickly - literally just by me wrappin the towel around myself. They also dry right away, sometimes with just a slight bit of dampness depending on how much you wet it, but I never had a bad smell in my bag from sometimes having to pack them up right away.I also used one of them on the beach, which was super convenient because it's not bulky and has the small towel that I can use for my face, but the sand did stick to it quite a lot. I think this is not necessarily because of the material alone, I think it was also because the sand was extremely fine and soft in Thailand.
