I bought this air conditioner to cool my 10 x 10 bedroom (with an 8 foot ceiling). This unit DOES NOT COOL the room AT ALL, and it's not even summer yet. In full (maximum) cooling mode, the room temperature does not fall by more than 1 or 2 degrees in four or more hours of operation. I took great pains to fit this block to the window. Now I have to disassemble everything to get the unit out so I can ship it back. BEWARE! Whatever you do, DO NOT BUY THIS DEVICE!
