Good Passive Cooler

These appear from different vendors from time to time. At first I was a bit hesitant to buy but it was a good price and I figured why not! it is quite thin and fits together perfectly. This means the copper is not in full contact with the aluminum fins, which is normal as it still conducts heat well away from the SSD. My computer is a bit unusual in that the NVME heatsink is also a chipset heatsink (check compatibility with your system before buying!), so you'll see some thermal paste and a missing screw in my photos, but that's in Alright, that's what I did. Install it on my build. I wish I could measure the temperature before and after, but I misaligned my GPU (which was a big heat source) and CPU cooler fan orientation when I installed it, so I don't have accurate before and after data. but I will say that my results afterwards are very good. After warming up my computer with a 30 minute video rendering, I ran 3 runs of Crystaldiskmark in a row, and the NVME SSD, which I set to a maximum of 87C (it only reached that temperature for a split second), was closer to the 75 -80 average. The numbers may seem high, but keep in mind that these are maximum temperatures due to the unrealistically high workload once the system is VERY warmed up. no thermal throttling after 3 tests, very impressive! During normal use, the idle temperature is between 45 and 50 ยฐC.
