True 3/4 setup works great on my Jeep TJ flat fenders. I just plugged them in and connected. They fit well and are comfortable. The 3-wire LED is installed in such a way that it can be connected for parking and turn signals. They are visible during the day and illuminate the garage at night. They also have a decent sidelight profile. The lens is slightly convex and is a one-piece sealed unit. I liked them so much that I installed another pair on each side, just like at the factory. I wired them up the same way as the front ones, so they flash even with the horn on and parking lights on, but don't go out like the factory headlights. I can't say how long they will last since I just installed them but I suspect they should last since they are LED. On my jeep the front light connector showed ground, major and minor. So I connected the black to ground, the main wire (green with black stripe) to the red wire, and the secondary black with green stripe to the white wire. Everything worked like a champ, I didn't have to add load resistors or special high power turn signals because mine flashed well, but I don't know about newer jeeps.
