Review on ASUS Programmable Lighting Swappable Ergonomic by Wiktor Tasior ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am amazed at how well made the product is, just magical!

I switched to this mouse model from the Razer DeathAdder Essential due to constant problems with the sensitivity and response of the scroll. ASUS ROG Gladius II Origin gave me what I wanted from the previous model - accurate scroll response, on every touch. Also, the wheel has a firm landing, which is why there is no "rattle" effect when scrolling. And of course, the main advantage of this model is a replaceable cable and replaceable microphones, and most importantly, separate holes for attaching the case! Not under your feet! Why don't all mouse manufacturers do this? It is very convenient and practical!

Pros
  • Accurate response of pressing LVM and FDA. Accurate scroll wheel response. Replaceable USB cable, replaceable microphones. The mounting screw holes are not under the Teflon feet! Convenient body shape for a large hand with a "slide" under the palm. Convenient and intuitive customization of mouse buttons in the Armory Crate app. Pleasant, high-quality and matte plastic of the LVM, FDA and the upper part of the mouse body. RGB adjustment, Aura Sync support. Rich equipment.
Cons
  • Button play: LVM, two side switches Forward \ Backward and a central DPI switch button (default). When you touch the side button Forward and the DPI switch button (by default), they spring with a loud sound. Small teflon feet. Rigid and thick braided USB cable. When pressing on the left side pad, a crunch of plastic is heard. Dust and dirt stick well to the side rubber pads. If you bring the mouse to your ear, you can hear the high-frequency squeak of the sensor.
