GOOD. My grandson loves the different colors of the night light. The ability to raise/lower the display and night light levels works well. The buttons are backlit from above and clearly visible at night. Radio and alarm volume is good. BAD (or at least not good). Sleep Control - With most clock radios you just press the sleep button and the radio will turn on for a set amount of time, but on this one it seems to work by first turning on the radio and then asking for a sleep time - for me it's a bit funny. Most buttons are on the top and are backlit, but there's a volume rocker and clock display on the back. They don't have a backlit display, plus the volume is 2 separate buttons (up/down) and the clock display is a rotating wheel (like you normally see on the volume wheel). I kind of understand that the watch display will be on the back - for me it's more of a "set and forget" element, but for me the volume knob should be more conveniently accessible from the side or top. DANGEROUS. The FM radio has rather poor reception - lots of interference while our other three radios didn't get any interference for the same station. What's really frustrating about radio reception is that if you run the radio on batteries, it works pretty well. But as soon as you plug in the power cord, it causes interference and often generates static electricity. It has a 2-3 foot bollard wire and if I play with its placement long enough it will settle down but they really need to do something about it. The worst thing about the radio is that it has preset stations that it AUTOMATICALLY tunes to. So yes, you press and hold the radio button for 2 seconds and it will automatically scan and record all your stations - like your TV - except now you don't go to 100.1 FM, you go to P25 or P35 or something else, depending on what it is found during the automatic scan. You can use the arrows to move left or right, but that sucks when you usually change stations, especially when they're on opposite sides of the radio band. Whether we leave it is possible, but I will not buy it again if there are breaks.
