The horse did not last nine months even though our 7 year old weighs just over 40 pounds. The rubber on one of the legs is torn on the side. Given the high price of this toy, I find that unacceptable. I contacted Gymnic and asked for a replacement and they told me the tear was an "accidental hole" which is hard to believe - the girl rides on the floor and doesn't scratch the furniture (which doesn't have sharp edges anyway). They refused to replace the horse and offered to seal the rift. We have had several of their horses and they are all very susceptible to hoof cracks so I know from personal experience that glue doesn't work. It's one thing for their $50 "cheap" horses to break down after a few months, but I would really expect more from a $100 horse.
