I'm doing a lot of canning this fall and this product is highly recommended to save time and labor. Spring . In my experience, it only works well with carrots. Because they're long, thin, and hard, they're easy to use for carrots, but not much better than my previous peeler. Well, when it comes to something round. Potatoes, apples, etc., using this product is a common routine. For these products I had to whip out my trusty old vegetable peeler. Make up your own mind. Maybe it's just my old hands.
