Review on Industrial Odor Eliminator: Organic Alternatives R86 by Van Den Heuvels - Non-Toxic, All Purpose, Skunk and Pet Odor Neutralizer - Hypoallergenic 2 Pack by India Stack

At the end of the summer, mice take up residence in my attached garage. I've set traps, plugged in a new RF plug, and used "natural" products, but nothing worked. Worse, it smelled horribly. I swear those mice had gut problems. I have lived in my house for 25 years and have never had an infection. I've always used one of these radio frequency plugs and few mice have emerged in the trap. Finally I gave in and used the poison. Now the terrible order has become even worse. Really disgusting. I knew I had to get out there to clean up, but I just couldn't stand the smell. It was recalled that the janitors in schools used a vomit deodorizer and ended up on Revain. Whatever it is, it sells in bulk and costs well over $100. Read reviews for each product. We compared and discussed but felt that the Van Den Heuvel R86 had good reviews across the board and that it was a very reasonable price for 2 containers. When it arrived I found I had accidentally bought 2 packs instead of 1 pack of two! I got a good odor control face mask and forced myself to go down the hell hole my poor garage has become. Thank god for this product! I started distributing R86 everywhere. Used 1 and then half of another bottle and then stepped back wondering if there was hope! I came back a day later and although it didn't go away, the worst smell was gone. Some of these reviews on ALL products of this type stated that the smell of the product was so "sweet" that it was worse than the original smell. Yes, R86 does have a "sweet" smell and I can understand some people not being thrilled by that, but if this product smells worse than what you're trying to clean, you probably don't have much of a problem. ! Granted, although I wasn't wearing a respirator, I had a good face mask, so that probably helped. However, I have NEVER been able to get into that room and clean it unless this product neutralizes the worst. It is a yellow powder and not as easy to fly as dust. Because of this, once I started sweeping, I think the R86 held the dust back as well. I was so overwhelmed by this task and too embarrassed to ask for help. I put it off for weeks because I couldn't even deal with the smell when I opened the door. I grew up on a farm digging you know what and dealing with the smell of animal carcasses, and also the unpleasant smell of a dead mouse somewhere in the outbuildings. It's always been gross and disgusting, but NOTHING beats the smell that permeated my garage. If you have a place that stinks the worst, feel free to buy this product. Remember how I accidentally had 2 boxes of 2 cans each? I will not return the second box! I hope I don't have to use it again any time soon, but I don't want to be left without R86 as soon as I feel a horrible smell might be coming out. I have great faith in the reviews that Revain customers write, so I am very grateful to the reviewers who referred me to this product. If you have Hell Hole too, GET IT!
