Fish Killer - Gravel

This is the worst product I have ever bought. I have had the same fish for 3 years with no problems and as soon as I started using these stones my fish got sick and was shaking constantly. The color does not stay on the stones and is difficult to clean. If you want to kill your fish fast buy this. otherwise I would have avoided it at all costs. And in less than a week my fish will be dead. I've been eating fish for 3 years. The only change I made was using these stones

The pain broke off and the gravel started to crumble

After a few weeks the paint started to peel off and some of the gravel even started to crumble. Good for your aquarium. At first I liked how it looked. It was a bit difficult to wash and there were tiny pieces that other pebbles had chipped off which would have been dangerous if my fish ate them. After soaking and rinsing with a handful of water under the sink to remove all dust and debris, he was ready for the aquarium.

Don't buy this. The paint is yet to come.

do not buy. The paint is still peeling and I've had it for over a month now. My fish were struggling and had to feed them peas and spinach so I figured the color on the filter was their fault. Well it isn't. When I clean the tank it doesn't flush and the filter turns blue and the bottom is immediately cloudy. Now I'm putting two and two together. I'm surprised my fish have lived in such an environment for so long. I will go buy new stones immediately.

Great for crafting! Best in Fish & Aquatic Animals Category

Well I know it's fish pebbles but when I searched the internet for small artificial turquoise I couldn't find anything that size. and to my surprise this gravel was perfect for the artificial turquoise and it helped me a lot in my work with it. I glued it to the glass bowls to make a cute turquoise bowl and it's very cute, we will be buying more and putting it on top of the plain bull head we bought to add the look of turquoise. We don't have fish, but it's definitely a great craft product.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Some small things

Cheap for a reason.

This is the cheapest gravel you can find on Revane. I believe they use some sort of powder coating process that causes more colored powder than I've ever experienced. With other gravel, I can wash it once or twice and it's clean. I've flushed this gravel about 10 times, it still came out blue-green. There are also many small pieces. So if you have medium sized fish I wouldn't use this gravel. There are occasional sharp pieces of gravel. I would suggest using a large hole strainer to rinse it…

Pros
  • Doping 🔥
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Decent substrate at an affordable price

I have used different colors of Pure Water gravel in the past. You usually find a lot of very small thin pieces mixed in with larger ones which is a waste of time. Most of the tiny particles fall out through the screen when I first rinse the gravel before pouring it into the tank so they don't all end up in the tank, but some do and it's still waste. It's not bad for the price though. Colors are vibrant and will not fade over time. Just be sure to wash it thoroughly before adding it to the…

Parcel damaged - only ONE driver knocked and rang the bell.

The package arrived on time. That's the only good thing about the delivery. The package was VERY HEAVY and blocked the heavy glass door. The package weighed far more than anyone else could handle. So much so that the outside of the box had cracked at the seams and corners, leaving stray aquarium rocks all over the porch. I even had to sweep the mess. One rang or knocked to indicate he had arrived. The driver apparently left the package and its contents there, ignoring the damage. So much so…
