This is the cheapest gravel you can find on Revane. I believe they use some sort of powder coating process that causes more colored powder than I've ever experienced. With other gravel, I can wash it once or twice and it's clean. I've flushed this gravel about 10 times, it still came out blue-green. There are also many small pieces. So if you have medium sized fish I wouldn't use this gravel. There are occasional sharp pieces of gravel. I would suggest using a large hole strainer to rinse it properly. I haven't had any fading or anything like other reviewers have said, but my fish are small fish and plecos.
