Review on Bell Right 3 Bicycle Platform Hitch by Lamar Hopkins

Amazing platform. I did an arduous research of products from entry level brands all the way up to the Kuat NV 2.0 level to find a quality stand that is affordable and will last a long time. When I came across the "Right up" option, I came back. After reviewing 350 mounts plus tires (27.5x3.00 and 27.5x2.8 for hardtail and full suspension in my garage) I chose this option over other brands based on reviews and comparisons. I am very comfortable! The frame is solid, the vehicle mount is solid, and the bikes feel very sturdy when on the move. I would recommend finding a security option if the wearer is left alone in the vehicle. Personally, I was able to lock it with a bike lock on the trailer hitch without any problems. Second, I would recommend finding a buffer between your bike's frame and the vertical support - I'm concerned about the rubber compound, although it's very nice it will strip the paint off the frame on longer rides. It's just a friction problem. My wife made me a nice fabric tube with velcro to wrap around the frame. Works great. In summary I would highly recommend this shelf to anyone looking for a purchase where you get a lot more than you pay for! I trust this shelf and will use it for years to come.
