Review on Delta BSB05505HP 5V 0.40A CT02 DT23 A01 769264-001 High-Performance Fan by Dion Jeep

My Intel NUC fan started making a screeching noise and I knew the end was near. I opened it up expecting to find a small box frame like any other PC and was dismayed to find that it was a flat impeller with some air ducts because it looked custom made and I didn't think it would be light would be found. It turns out that this particular impeller is used in many products and has been advertised here as fitting other Intel NUC models. So I tried one and found that it fits my NUC5i5BNH perfectly. Since this model is not in the compatible models list yet, I wrote this review so that more people who need this fan can find it. Getting to the fan is not easy, there are many tiny connectors that need to be unplugged. The original fan held one of the mounting screws captive, but I used pliers to remove the washer so I could reuse that screw. This replacement restored the near-silent operation of the NUC.
