Injury/ balance concerns and noise description

I have been using the Adventure 4D daily for 2 weeks and thought I would share its performance so far.I have broken both legs and normally have pain and swelling both legs. I broke tge tib/fib in the right leg 8 years ago, spiral fracture with dislocation with plate and screws. I broke my left leg the same way 2 years ago, this time with an IM nail. Roller derby is dangerous, y'all! In general I would say it has decreased my pain and my ankle are less swollen. The lateral movements can be a bit painful right at first, but it's just for a second until my muscles stabilize. Unfortunately, the 3 preprogrammed sessions can't be modified, so if you want to avoid a function, your use would need to use only manual functions. My father has also used it once. He is 75, has a bad knee and balance problems. IF YOU SUFFER BALANCE PROBLEMS, DO NOT BUY THIS MODEL. You will need one with a vertical bar to hold. the platform is very stable, but the motion itself could cause a fall. It did not hurt his knee at all.I am currently unable to leave the house, due both to covid and the full-time care my mother requires, so this has provided a means for me to get in a quick workout or even just get my circulation up and some endorphins. It's unclear if it's speeding up my weight loss, but it feels like it should, ya know?It sounds about the same as if the dishwasher was running from another room (both quiet and subtle, but not silent)

Pros
  • Can complement other forms of exercise or physical therapy
Cons
  • The machine's weight may be too heavy for one person to move alone
