I'm not a skeptic but a realist and when I hear people say 'that was easy' I want to see it for myself. I can say that it literally took me longer to remove the seat than to flash the bike. The user guide is literally 8 quick and easy steps and all you have to do is follow the instructions. You have to download the updated firmware, which was probably the longest part, but after that it's just 1, 2, 3 and you're done. My bike kept jerking under braking and sometimes between gears. After programming, the bike has less pop and runs better with better throttle response. You can't use this on another bike once it's linked to the VIN, but who cares, it works and you don't need a computer just a smartphone. The only negative, few instructions, seriously? Just a booklet with 3-4 pages of pictures. I ended up taking the next step by using the autotune feature which took care of the popping noise completely and now it works even better. I figured out this feature myself.
