NOT defective like others.
They have a better design than traditional devices. Use them to guard the church. The only complaint I have is that the sound can "drop out" if you pull outside a bit where it connects to the radio. The best wire/headphone is "Commountain" but they are twice the size. Not bad if you don't buy a bundle.
