Review on Bobs Red Mill Gluten Protein by Ben Karlen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Don't be afraid of protein-healthy soy

I've tried various protein powders over the years and recently compared and contrasted some very different types including: Naked Seed (from the folks that make Naked Whey and Naked Rice), sprouted Brown rice protein, high-fiber hemp protein, fermented pea protein, and grass-fed whey protein concentrate. As far as I know it's a residual concentration from the fermentation process which is actually good for health but it was a bit inappropriate and I thought I might have a mild reaction. However, this may be due to psychology and taste. Of all the proteins, this soy protein is the most neutral. It's VERY clean and pure to all my senses. This makes sense as it is an isolate and others are not, but I am very impressed by its purity and neutrality. After trying a large portion, I didn't notice any gastrointestinal issues compared to some others. like it's a healthy, clean and pure protein of the highest standards and anyone suspicious of soy should try it. Just because so many processed soy products are bad for the crop, there are some good foods that people shouldn't shy away from.
