I am very happy with this duvet cover. The velvet is incredibly soft on both sides and so luxurious. I actually catch myself ironing my bed! I chose this blanket over other velvet options because it's also soft on the inside and the square pattern helps make any creases or bumps less noticeable than a plain fabric. There are some creases on the fabric that may fade over time, but I've found this happens with a lot of fabrics and I think the pattern helps make them less noticeable. The green color is very beautiful and looks dark green. The fabric is very soft and pleasant to the touch, but not too thick. I've used it as a blanket without a duvet cover on less chilly nights. Basically I wanted to do a review so you can see photos of the cap in action as there weren't any when I bought it. They were removed after a single wash (cold water, hang dry). The fabric stayed soft and the square stitching held up. If you like the look, I recommend buying pillowcases!
