This is a great product for sure, but I would not recommend using this in the gym. I used this during a workout and it was just a bit too hot for my liking. This is a very versatile item and I can see myself wearing this on a hike or even out to dinner, but not for weight lifting. This shirt is also very loose, which I tend to prefer for my core, but not my arms. If you are looking for the shirt to fit tightly on your arms, I would recommend sizing down.
