Due to the constant working from home, a camera is a must for me. I bought these for two reasons. First, my previous webcam died (the one on the left), but more importantly, the second reason is related to the light. With my first camera, I used a table lamp as the light source. She blinded me with the amount of light she produced, but she did her job and kept her face lit. With this camera, your face will now be softly illuminated without dazzling you. It has three levels of brightness, but I always use the brightest level. I also like that the camera comes with a lens privacy shield. Not a flimsy mount like the left camera. Glad to switch to this one. If you have a dark room like mine this is a must have.
