Poor shaft design, poor handle design
I love the size and basic shape of this rice machine. Something is easily lost and difficult to replace. I really don't want to lose this part when I'm cleaning this unit. Must be secured with a wing nut or other mechanical fastener. The handle should be made of tubular aluminum for strength and comfort in the hand. Unfortunately, they came with sheet aluminum with plastic hand covers, which are both fragile and awkward to hold, especially when handling potatoes or other root vegetables. Nice basic design that really needs a little better fit and finish.
