I've been trying to use the SC4 TRS to TRRS BOYA mic adapter to connect the lav mic to my Macbook and iPhone (via the Anker Audio Lightning -Adapter). I even tried connecting the mixer to an iPhone. Every time - Macbook and iPhone understood that there is an external microphone, and when I tried to record through it - there was no sound, just complete silence. Luckily I had a "mic/headphone splitter" that effectively does the same thing. thing, and it worked, I was able to record happily. I'm sending it back, it didn't work at all.
