I had a wedding and it was going to be in a very prestigious location so I needed a dress that was appropriate for the occasion. I'm not sure if anyone else has had this issue, but every dress I've looked at on Amazon was either 1. too casual, 2. looked like a bridesmaid dress, or 3. was either too big or too daring. I've been googling back and forth about this dress for a ridiculous amount of time but finally pulled the trigger and I'm so glad I did. I'm 33 years old with a curvaceous figure (41, 37, 47) and my main concern was that this dress was intended for older women so it might be too matronly but I figured a dress without a jacket would work, and I was top notch! 14W suit me perfectly! I might redesign the dress a bit in the future to fit my bust size (I have a C cup on a good day lol) but to be honest it probably isn't worth the money given a good padded bra solved my problem. I would definitely recommend taking your measurements and then checking the size chart as this dress is really big and has a bit of stretch (for reference, I usually wear a 18 but ordered a 14). I'm tall (5 feet 9 inches) and this is about 3 inches below my knees and has a 12 inch gap in the back. It was an elegant vintage look and I got loads of compliments, this dress is a keeper!
